Aqua Predator gets totally submerged in wet hops (or at least as much as our makeshift hop back could hold). Lemongrass dominates the nose while a melon tang finishes to a hop oil vapor.
Secret Techniques: Aqua Predator Wet Hopped Saison is brewed with 100 pounds (per 20 barrel turn) of hops picked by our friends at Hop Head Farms in Michigan in the morning, shuttled to us, and placed in a makeshift hopback in the afternoon brew. The completely unprocessed hops add fresh grass and unique citrus notes to our base farmhouse ale.

Draught @ One Lake Brewing (Sept 2024). Clear greenish gold color with a frothy off-white head, very faint grain aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter lightly yeasty malt taste, thin body, long finish. Not very flavorful, a bit thin.

On tap at Off Color - The Mousetrap, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fresh floral hops, rustic saison yeast, and gentle earthy notes. Flavour is rustic and freshly hoppy, with earthy hops, rustic saison yeast and hay. Bright and barnyardy. Good stuff.

Can at Mousetrap. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus, floral, yeast. Slick body, yeast, lemon zest, light dry finish, very good.

Pour looks like apple juice with a small white head. Aroma is a minor yeast ester with some apple and caramel. Flavor is toasted grain with citrus hops out in front with a decent ester. This was decent. Kind of a rustic saison with some new world hops.

Can from Livonia Liqour. Pours a clear, glowing pear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Faint muscat, pear and banana aromas on the nose. Crisp and clean on the palate with more of the pear and banana notes with bitter, peppery hop flavors. Lingering peppercorn and banana on the finish.

Bottle thanks to Adam, thanks! Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of flora, light spice, and light fruits with a bit of light grains underlying. Flavor has lots of straw and grass with some light fruits and a bit of Belgian yeast underlying.
