Hefeweizen ist in der Regel unfiltriert, trüb und hell und hat einen Alkoholgehalt von etwa 5,5 Prozent. Die kühle Erfrischung im Sommer! Beste Brauqualität muss nicht teuer sein!

Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma, lemons, wheat and some yeasty notes. Flavor, lemon, tart, wheat and some bready notes.

50cl bottle from ABCBeers. Thin creamy white head. Cloudy golden blond pour. An ok weiss beer. refreshing.

50 cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Almost opaque, very hazy yellow color with a full sized dense white colored head. Aroma is very standard: lightly malts, sweetness and banana. Taste malts, sweetness and banana. It seems however it’s a bit softer than most of the time with weizen beers. Some extra points for that but it’s still not my beer. Decent though.

Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Very hazy white to yellow colour with a big white head. Smells grassy, banana malts and lots of herbs. Tastes sweet, malty, some banana, herbs, unfresh. Thin body, soft carbo.

Bottled, from Krefeld. Cloudy golden, rich head. Aroma of dusty old cellared apples and banana. Sweetish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Notes of boiled vegetables, low bitterness. Unusually poor for a German weizen.

Der verwässert hefige Beginn beinhaltet bereits eine leichte Herbe, die auch im Mittelteil unterstützt. Hier schwächelt die Hefigkeit aber deutlich, so dass die Herbe nicht mehr viel ausrichten kann. Süßlich und süffig, dafür eben nicht sehr intensiv. Die Süße ist dabei in Relation zu den anderen Aromen zu stark. 11/8/9/7/8/8

Bottle 500ml.Hazy - murky medium to light yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, grainy - wheaty, yeast. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110312]

Bottle. Courtesy Fonefan. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Pale yellow colour. Moderate hoppy and yeasty aroma. Slightly sour notes. Light bitter flavor. Some fruity esters present. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.
