Bomber from BevMo Salinas. Nose is light pine with a little light roast and caramel. Hazy copper with a medium nicely lacing, yellowish beige head. Flavor is super bitter with some pine tar. Finishes very bitter but in a pleasant kind of way. Different IPA.

Bomber pours semi hazy amber with copper hues and off white head. The aroma is malty, a bit caramel-y and then musty earthy hops, spicy hops and a thin ring of grapefruit hops around the edges. The taste has a pleasing mix of bitter grapefruit and rich chewy spicy hops that spill into earthy hoppy goodness and a bit of pine by about midway. This hop has wonderful and varied hoppiness rushing out of it. The more I drink the more I’m digging this even though it may not be perfectly fresh, from what I can tell.

bottle from BevMo, pours light amber with a medium light tan head. Large bubbles leave thin lacing. Aroma is citrus forward with big juicy ruby red grapefruit notes, some pineapple. Very fruity and sweet smelling. Flavor is sweet caramel and toffee malts upfront, some bitter toast and biscuit ending with big herbal and citrus rind hop bitterness. The bitterness lingers for a while and the palate is left dry. Not my favorite of the bunch but still good and priced well.

Bomber from the Arden BevMo in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a 3 finger creamy light beige head. There’s a strong roast caramel aspect to the aroma, making the smell like a barley wine with some citrus. Med body going quickly to thin. It is very bitter, tho the brown sugar aspect lurks beneath. What flavor? Maybe citrus. It is just very bitter. Which I guess is what this hop is all about. Wow, it is quite different.
