32oz crowler fill pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that supports a thin bright white head of foam. I have waited so long to finally get to try this. It was last made about 5 years ago and I missed out. Not this time around. The modest aroma offers up bits of apples, pears, corn and then thin boozy fusel like notes. The taste starts with smooth nicely sweet sugary malt, honey drizzled apple wedges and pear. It then quickly picks up a booze nuanced sweet corn sensation about midway. All of this seems too soft and too sweet but the boozy fusel like bite provides a mild yet softly harsh balance to the sweetness. Solid straight up Malt Liquor but its lack of stimulating the gag-reflex might not be 100% to style. Well done InBev… er 4 Peaks.

on tap at Four Peaks Tempe, pours deep gold with a thin white head. Aroma is typical to the style with pale grains and sweet corn but there are definite hints of hops especially the Cascade. Flavor is rich pale malts, grassy but dry malt body with hay and sweet corn but this beer ends so beautifully. For being such a big malty beer it ends with a really nice hop presence that is grassy and floral lingering in the finish. Without a doubt the best malt liquor I have ever had, and if it weren’t for the abv which is well masked, I could drink this all day.
