On tap @ Town Hall Tap. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance with a brown head. Nutty, cola, caramel, a bit spicy aroma. Cookie, toffee, kind of chewy, sweet caramel, somewhat piney hoppy flavor. A bit strange but not bad.

on tap at the brewery pours brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is pine and very hop driven with thin caramel and roast in the background. Flavor is nice toast and nuts with caramel malt sweetness ending with a huge pine and dank grassy hop notes.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear orange amber with a slight grayish brown head that dissipated to the edges and laced. Aroma had a combination of pine and caramel with some underlying toasted grains. Flavor started with smooth grains with a growing pine hop and a slight grapefruit note.

This is good. Brown? No; too much hop character for a brown. More IPA than brown. The hop aroma is strong and herbal. Flavor is bitter, herbal hops, balanced with sweet malt. Brown color and a thick head. One of Town Hall’s better beers in some time.
