Bomber from Bevmo Salinas. Nose is citrus, caramel, and a hint of bubblegum. Interesting nose. Clear copper with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is bitter with some light, contrasting sweetness. The hint of malty bubblegum comes through all the way into the bitter finish. My favorite of their 4 single hop brews.

Bomber pours clear copper with light tan head. The aroma is influenced by sugary malts followed by herbally – earthy – spicy hops. Nice. The taste has a pleasing level of bold spicy hops where the earthiness has a slight herbally black tea note with some citrus hop flavors around the edges. This tasty hoppiness is both bitter and flavor and stays pretty much the same into the finish. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy, orange to gold hued body with a small, off-white head that lasts and leaves some lace. Aromas of pineapple, higher alcohol, esters, a particularly sweet, caramel/crystal heavy malt bill. A hint of strawberry, slight manure and a phenolic smoke. Messy as are a lot of Hermitage’s beers. Tropical fruit aroma from the hops. Flavors of are bitter, dry, roasty, grainy, astringent, tannic extraction, phenolic smoke notes (nearly peat like). Light fruity, tropical fruit hop character. Hugely astringent, nearly chalky mouthfeel imparted by the grain. Tannic, dry. Bitter balance. Peanutshells. Lively bubbles. Messy!

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor with light pine and malt. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger with malt and light earthiness.

bottle from BevMo at home, pours light amber with a medium rocky light tan head. Aroma is huge pine, grapefruit, and apple hop notes really dank aroma. Flavor does not dissapoint, huge toast and caramel malt profile balanced well with a pineapple, pine and light citrus hop finish that dries out nice and is fairly assertive. This is a homerun and priced well to boot.

Bomber from the Natomas BevMo. Pours very dark copper with a creamy beige head. Flavor is roast malt, but smooth, with a lot of floral and citrus hop aspects. There’s enough hop to burn membrane a bit. Interesting and good very bitter ale.
