Taster at brewpub. Mahogany colored pour, ring of fine off-white head. Malty aroma, sweet. Taste is malty, earthy sweet, peat, tobacco. A bit too sweet.

New England Bucket List Trip #229. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malt and floral hops. The taste is caramel, toffee, dark fruit, brown sugar. Medium bodied, mild lingering fruit.

16oz pour is a clear brown with some thin beige head. Nose is nice, vinous, malty, cracker, mild booze, almost like processed mead. Flavor is solid, malty, vinous, a little tannic, lemon tea, honey, dried grass. Clean finish. Complex but drinkable.

on tap at the brewpub, pours brown with a medium light tan head. Aroma is semi-sweet floral hops. Flavor is sweet bread malts and doughy yeast with a light citrus finish. Nice.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a small white head. The aroma was dryish, malty and a touch roasty with hints of tea. The flavor was bitter and lightly roasty with a touch of fruit. The finish was long and very bitter and floral. The mouthfeel was watery and thin. Eh.
