500ml bottle. Clear, ruby colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, minimally nutty and toasty, caramel malty aroma, hints of nougat, caramel. Taste is grassy, bitter hoppy and slightly toasty and nutty malty, diluted hints of nougat and caramel. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, prickly carbonation. Very nice colour, rather watery - so-so.

Fränkisches Kupfer von Lang, Waltershausen, Flasche von Central Getränke, Wülfershausen. - Appetitliches Kupferrot, blank. (10.4.2023.)

Bottle: Literally copper coloured, clear, smaller, slowly diminishing off-white head; dark caramel and toasted malt in the nose with a spicy hoppy and a very faint metallic touch; moderate to light sweetish-bitter flavour with the faintest illusion of acidity, soft MF; short, toasted-malty and bitter finish, with some sourness shining through. Yawn.....

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown coloured with a slightly off-white foamy head of medium size. Light-sweet, toast-malty nose with cacao, toffee and a good dose of herbal hops. Mild bitter flavour with a moderate sweet edge, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Toast-malty taste with light notes of caramel and a herbal blend; moderately dry, bitter-sweet finish. A bit slim towards the finish but well-rounded and quite likeable. A good session Dunkel.
