[500ml bottle from brewery shop] Shared with Dave. Slightly darker than I expected from the "blond beer" description. No head at all; medium carbonation, exactly right for the style. Strong citrus (grapefruit and lemon) balanced with a refreshing bitterness. Still the Adnams malty flavour here though - tastes like a Broadside mixed with Hooegarden! A top notch beer when you’re thirsty, this also goes very well with spicy food. This is one of my favourite English ales, and I often go back to it.

Bottle. (RBNAG 07) A clear, yellow-golden beer topped by a decent, off-white head. Nice fruity hoppiness in the aroma, along with pale malts. The flavor is fruity, with a malty sweetness to balance the bitterness. The fruityness and bitterness is present in the finish as well, but slightly subdued. Medium body. A pleasant, quaffable beer.
