Bottle. Clear amber with a slight white head. This was dull - Aroma of floral hops with some apricots. Watery in the mouth with some subdued hop flavours and a short finish.

Bottle from Asda. poured a clear dolden colour with a little white head and light carbonation; light hoppy aroma; explodes in the mouth with a rich grapefruit flavour. Excellent bitterness to start, if this beer lacks anything itโ€™s follow through - the aftertaste is disappointingly light.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Brewed with American Chinook and Columbus hops. Golden colour, large foamy head. Pleasant hoppy aroma and flavour, both with notes of citrus and dry white wine. Bitter finish. Okay beer, but Iโ€™d like the malts to come through too.

30-03-06 Picked up a bopttle at Morrisons. Forgot to chill as recommended, but I did re-seal and stick the second half of the bottle in the fridge and had a bit later it was no better really. Light amber coloured unremarkable blonde, some bittereness, some citrus fine but thatโ€™s about it, expected better from Adnams.

Bottle. Caramel coloured beer with a fizzy head. The aroma is plainly dry and the flavour is caramel, slightly dry and off bitter. Overall a fairly standard beer.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Copper colour with lasting off white head. Yeasty and citric hop nose with some sweet caramel. Soft in mouth, bit of candy sugar, some more caramel and more citrus hop on the end with some lemon and yeast. The hops are quite zesty. Certainly better than the cask version I had. 3.2/5 Re-rate bottle in Tesco, certainly more hoppy, more pronounced grapefruit and other citrus fruits. Something that I have actually chosen to buy for the train ride home rather than having to put up with something.
