Explorer is light and refreshing, suffused with the aromas of a grapefruit grove. The citrus attack will burst on your palate as the hops deliver their fruity bitterness.

Available in 500ml bottle and in keg in selected Wetherpoon outlets.

Pale Ale malt is used to provide the biscuity backbone of this blonde beer but it’s the hops that give it its personality. We use two American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington. These hops, called Columbus and Chinook, add wonderful grapefruit flavours to the beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear dark gold, brief fizzy white head, no retention. Not great. Aroma is quite metallic, citrus, pale malts. Taste of metal, biscuit, decent citrus burst, light tropical notes, punchy grassy and zesty bitterness. Ok. Light bodied but a little chewy. Bang average bitter.

Creamy white head left a spotty cover on pale amber coloured body. Floral & pale malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a thinner dry back. Delicate tastes of citrus, hops, pine & confectionery with a tangy finish. A mediocre Bitter.
