Wunderbar kompakt und stabil steht der Schaum im Glas auf dem goldenen 1516er Original. Aus dem Glas strömen Aromen von grünen Kräutern, und Anklänge von frisch gebackenem Baguette und einer Spur reifer Äpfel. Im Antrunk frisch und inspirierend, entwickelt sich der kräftige und charaktervolle Geschmack. Im Abgang fein ausbalanciert mit einer milden Bittere und angenehmen Vollmundigkeit.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing white head. Slightly grainy, minimally bready, pale malty and slightly leafy-grassy, minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally doughy yeasty and metallic overtones. Taste is watery, pale malty and minimally metallic, leafy-grassy hoppy, subtle sweetness, very light hoppy fruitiness as well; metallic finish. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Simple, light and watery, fairly refreshing - so-so.

Many thanks for this bottle to Pivnizub & MoritzF. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and sweet.

Butilka: Golden, smaller white foamy layer, sweetish-grainy nose with an illusion of pale malt and some hard to find strawy hops;lightt sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied as well; short and very mild - as expected - sweet-bitter finish. Forget it…

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Slightly perfumed malty aroma with grassy notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft, if not tame carbonation. Dull malty base, again slightly perfumed and a bit oxydised with grassy accents; sweet and shy bitter and slightly grassy finish. A plain and boring Lager. 25.XII.13
