If you are a fan of our big, boozier-malt offerings than this one is for you. Rich notes of treacle, caramel, and apparent alcohol with a relatively light body, semi-sweet finish. More English than American, it drinks great now, but could be aged for later.

Pint can, WW. #2700/4200, Ghost 829. Hazy amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is surprisingly faint: light berry, wet cardboard. Flavor is molasses, rubbing alcohol, caramel, raisin. This is lacking aroma and flavor, but very high on booze. Quite disappointing from Adroit.

650ml bottle [#0053/1000, invisible Ghost]. Cloudy, reddish amber colour with minimally late awakening, average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, freely lacing, off-white head. Initially rich and complex, hoppy and malty aroma with fruity hoppy notes of fresh fruit like red berries, strawberry, red currant, some rhubarb, dried fruit as well, raisin, date, sultanine, malty hints of caramel, marzipan, reveals some ephemeral quantities and doesn't develope advantageous. Taste is bitter, fruity and slightly alcoholic, hints of old strawberry cake, a hard to describe mixture of rattan-peanut-banana maltiness, quite some booze is perceptible, not so much in taste but in agency. Creamy texture, smooth, soft silky palate, somehow you are lead to believe you deal with a light bodied beer (an Adroit Theory's feature), lingering bitter hoppy and minimally sweet caramel malty finish. Well, I dither... still... 12/20 overall.
