Mokko is a sweet milk stout.
Rick dark malts herded together with some of the finest delicate East Kent Goldings & milk sugar (lactose), soft water, churned together to create a roasty yet milky, malty & creamy stout.
Deep, dark & delightfully decadent, Mokko is an indulgent beer, brewed on Yorkshire pastures, wholesome & delicious.

Pours black with a very small head.Nose shows roasted malt, milk chocolate and oatmeal. Tempting.More roasted malt as a flavour along with some lactose sweetness. Not all that complex, some toasty/nutty malt.Needs more carbonation.

Bottled 330ml. Ales by Mail BB 11/2012 (bought 02/13). Dark brown color, big brownish head. Aroma is slightly musty, chocolate and dust. Medium-bodied. Chocolate, cocoa, slightly milky but also a bit tart and ashy. Maybe a bit past its prime, not easy to say how good it could be.

Bottle [thanks to jmgreenuk] @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Dark brown color with a slight red glare coming through, small tan head that diminishes quickly. Smell malts, slightly roasty, liquorice. Taste malts, lightly bitter, slightly roasty. Quite nice actually, better than expected. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a deep mahogany with a round glass hugging off white head. The aroma is of roasted malt. The flavour is medium bitter, with a sweet malt, coffee, creamy palate. Very nice to taste but a little sweet for my liking.

On keg @ the Holyrood 9A Appearance - opaque black/brown with a velvety looking texture. Proportionate creamy head. Nose - chocolate and cream. Taste - milk chocolate. Palate - medium bodied with a lovely creamy texture and a fairly elegant finish. Overall - good sweet stout. Absolutely nothing wrong, to get more marks, it would just need to be a bit more multi-dimensional. The one dimension is good though.
