Mokko is a sweet milk stout.
Rick dark malts herded together with some of the finest delicate East Kent Goldings & milk sugar (lactose), soft water, churned together to create a roasty yet milky, malty & creamy stout.
Deep, dark & delightfully decadent, Mokko is an indulgent beer, brewed on Yorkshire pastures, wholesome & delicious.

Draught at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg. Near black with dark brown hues and a thin, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, lactic notes and light liquorice. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with roasted mats and chocolate milk. Good sweet Stout.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. This comes across a bit tart and thin, with a sugary finish. But with something nutty sweet to eat, i.e. a muffin made by the Missus, with gianduja, peanut butter, and chocolate lumps, then all of a sudden, it comes really good. A good dessert beer, is what I’m trying to say.

Tap at the Euston tap. Opaque dark caramel coloured pour with a thin greyish head. Aroma is subdued cocoa powder, roast and mineral. Flavour is weird sickly sweet, milk, chalky carbonation and lactose sweet. Palate is sweet and semi dry. Misses the mark and the balance is way off.

Cask @ London Drinker Beer Festival 2014. An awesome stout, very milky, chocolately and silky smooth. Beer of the festival for me.

Port St. Beer House, Manchester 22 Jan 13. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig ultradyprød. Bra skum med litt farge. Forsiktig røstet aroma. Sjokoladesmak med innslag av søt vanilje.

Bottle: Nose is lactose, slight coffee, very slight leather slight dust; surprisingly muted. Taste, milk, sugars, latte, a little coffee. Mouthfeel a little thin. It’s a perfectly nice example, but surprisingly muted for something from SWB.
