Mokko is a sweet milk stout.
Rick dark malts herded together with some of the finest delicate East Kent Goldings & milk sugar (lactose), soft water, churned together to create a roasty yet milky, malty & creamy stout.
Deep, dark & delightfully decadent, Mokko is an indulgent beer, brewed on Yorkshire pastures, wholesome & delicious.

Black color, with large frothy beige head. The aroma mixes roastiness with a suspicious sourness. Quite smooth, with good roasty flavor, accentuated, and resiny bitterness, but also some light sourness.
Probably once good, but lightly infected.

Cask at the Euston Tap - 06/02/13. Mid black with a good sized frothy tan head that retains well. Good lacing ensues. Nose carries roast malt, chocolate, molasses, burnt toffee. Taste comprises milk chocolate, roast malt, mineral tones, slightly burnt notes, tobacco. Medium in body with soft carbonation and a little bitterness in the finish. Decent stout.

Half pint served from cask at Port Street Beer House. Rustic highlights to a very dark coloured body. Dotted spots to the glassware. Smell of dark malts with cocoa notes. Taste of wood, cocoa and vanilla offset by fruity hops. Bittersweet malty tail. A nice one to finish off our second day in Manchester, 22.01.2013.
