Growler from Super BuyRite in North Plainfield, NJ. Turbid honey gold color. Small creamy white head. Pine and melon in nose. First sip is bittersweet malt and pine hops. Notes of melon, old citrus, pepper, alcohol and lime. Raw and complex at the same time. Chewy, dank, grapefruit and pine finish.

Drank from the can! Smell is intense, rich, pine-forward fruityness. bit dry, woody. Some onion. taste is full, very creamy, rather thick even, MF. Low carbo ( lower than the average IIPA, even. Nice intensity. Very well balanced hoppy flavors, mostly pine, but also some fruityness. very well made.

Moderately hazy, pale, brassy-golden body is topped by a thin white head of moderate retention.
Pineapple and light mango collide with leafy, green, pine and moderate grapefruit. Not much resin, thankfully and the malt provides plentiful biscuit and gentle caramel-tinged honey for balance. It’s more dry and tangier in the nose than your typical NE IPA, but it’s still got a fair amount of juiciness to it. Some dough and strong ester are noted as well but it’s otherwise clean and free of any harshness or booziness.
Soft, malty and yet well-attenuated in the mouth, it’s full of a good mix of juicy pineapple, light mango and more austere grapefruit. Some pine and light warming on the finish (strong pith and estery alcohol notes) but if this is really 130 IBU then they’ve done one hell of a job masking it. Low but fairly engaging carbonation, no flaw.

Draft at Cooper's, Chelsea. Hazy orange with a ton of lace. Peach and honeydew. Grass and pine. Some greenery and a little orange juice. Leans juicy, sweet, with a lighter bitterness. ABV is pretty well hidden here too. Finishes a little drier than it tastes, but still rather juicy. Quite nice.

Bottle poured into a taster showing unfiltered orange with clean white foam lacing. The nose shows juicy notes of oranges and mango. The palate is medium bodied and highly carbonated. Flavors of moderately intense mango and orange with a light malt backbone. Sharp strong IPA bitterness on finish.

50cl bottle from CBC H Street pours a hazy goldish orange with some fluffy, lacing white head. Nose has tropical fruit but not overly in your face, mango and guava, some apricot too, lots of grass, quite dank, tangerine and fresh grapefruit. Flavor is juicy, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, some fresh/dank oily hop, light soap. Finishes a touch creamy, full bodied with a little bitterness and some fruity sweetness. Well balance and well put together.

Bomber courtesy of El Manana + 1 @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting. orange, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez parfumé et houblonné, fruité, poudre aïl, pamplemousse offre ces effluves typiques d’IPA très fraiches avec possible usage de C-hops. Palais est houblonné agrumes, épais avec un fini épicé Presque poivre et oignons; pamplemousse. Base malt reste là sans être trop dominante
