Bottle from Sainsbury’s, drunk at home. Copper with some carbonation but not a lot of head. Malty and slightly sulphurous nose with some orange peel. Basic bitter taste with a doughy sweetness near the end. Hoppy bitter aftertaste. It’s ok, but I can’t rave about this beer.

Color anaranjado. Dos dedos de espuma que desaparece rapido. Aroma afrutado, a naranja, citrico. Tambien especiado, mucha pimienta negra. Efervescente en boca y bastante sabrosa, muy frutal, naranja y tambien con un toque acaramelado. Especias. Compleja. Buena ale.

0,5L bottle (from Tallinna Kaubamaja). Pours clear copper with off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, and metallic notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, nutty, malty, slight citric, and metallic notes. Finish is nutty bitter and caramel. Carbonation is high. Doesn’t feel watery despite the ABV. Overall: ok brew.

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig, gehopft, getreidig, Äpfel. Geschmack sehr malzig, fruchtig, hopfig, etwas nussig, getreidig, süffig.

Bottle. Asda. The Beer God that is Bob Hunter, before he founded Ossett brewery, used to sell, on average, 36 gallons of this a day at the Beer Engine, on Wakefield Westgate. I think he’d struggle managing that, with this...

50cl bottle. Bbe April 2015. Pours dark amber, thick off white head. Toffee, caramel, nutty aroma. Crisp, high drinkability. Toffee and caramel, biscuits flavor, happier finish. Excellent stuff. Could drink this every day.

Appearance is amber and crystal clear, half finger fizzy white head. Aroma- lots of toffee and caramel, malty, bread, yeast hints, dark fruit notes. Taste- slick mouthfeel, lots of toffee and caramel- like a caramel biscuit. Orange peel. Plenty of chewy malt, carbonation to ease things through, bitter warming finish. Lovely.

Sample at SBWF 2014. A bit hazy copper with a white head. Aroma and taste of bread, grass, caramel and some light fruit. The mouthfeel was quite thin. Drinkable but a bit boring to be honest.
