12 ounce bottle into lager glass; bottled 8/11/2017, best before 2/11/2019. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, honey, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, honey, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, honey, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Mild cardboard note from NA process in aromas/flavors, but not overwhelming. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit rough, but well balanced. Overall this is a pretty good NA pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; even with the fairly rough bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful. A nicely enjoyable offering, one of the better ones I have had. It takes some getting used to how they usually taste with the NA processing.
