Blackburne is our decadent homage to the game’s most secretive tradition. The next chapter of this mysterious story unfolds as heaps of shredded coconut and cocoa nibs were added to our mammoth stout, creating a toasted creamy swirl of robust flavour. This unique version’s complexity is matched only by its rich, delicious intensity - all wrapped up in a warm, comforting finish.

Jet black brown and a rich brown head. Toasted coconut and dark chocolate. Bittersweet, molasses and toasted coconut. All the right things, but just not in harmony. So close.

Tasting at Phill's, can
Black colour. Roasted malt aroma. It's moderately sweet, the roasted character is quite strong, strong alcohol, maybe some coconut.
It's not fully convincing, but it's ok.

355mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is very sludgy, with cocoa, a little coconut, roasted malt and sludgy notes. Flavour is sludgy and heavy, with subdued cocoa, alcohol, and roasted malt. Chaotic, boozy and lacking integration. Sludgy palate with a chocolatey finish. Muddled and lacking proper balance. It's alright.

12oz (thx, Phill S.!) @home shared with Andrey. Appearance: very dark brown a tan head. Aroma: roasted malts and seeds, some chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, with not really much of coconut and chocolate. Overall: good as straight Imperial Stout, but there is not much of adjuncts in here.
