Smells of earthy pineapple and some of that amaro I think, has weak yellow body with no real carbonation. Flavour is bitter herb on apple, really not working for me. The bitterness lingers. This is too much like a tonic, the apple isn't strong enough to lend balance where it's needed.

On tap at The Cider House, pours a hazy blonde, no head. Nose reveals the Amaro prominently, with notes of fir, rhubarb and general botanicals, and no hint of pineapple (or apple for that matter). Flavour is fruitier, with a deep woody, earthy character, gentle acidity, and a hint of pineapple. Interesting incorporation of the Amaro—something I wouldn't normally enjoy but it works alright here.
