Very light pale yellow body, okay foam. Sweet chewy pineapply hops on the nose, hints of resin. Flavour is mellow sweet hops, slight pine, overall mustiness. Okay bitterness and good oiliness, abv well hidden. Serviceable DIPA.

As connotations your name can convey onto your beer, "Dirt Road" is better only than "Night at the Movies" and "Reverse Peristalsis". And sure enough, this unfortunately lives down to its name. Ugly amber-brown. No head. Really, not much aroma. Soft body, sweet, the malts aren’t great, and not enough hop. All told, it's a very old-fashioned chewy DIPA that misses on all fronts. If it sells, rock on, but otherwise better to start over with something clean, bright and modern.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a murky dark red with a small beige head. Aroma smells like cough syrup, with resinous hops and cloying candied sugar. Flavour is fairly dry, with bready malt, subdued resinous hops, and some candied sugars. Not sure what they were trying to do here - this doesn't seem like a IIPA in any way. Meh.
