Poured from 500mL bottle. Dark brown with minimal beige head. Black currant, oak wood, hint of balsamic. A little bit rough around the edges.

500ml at Matt's amenity room. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, overfermented black currants, some sweetness and sourness. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: interesting, but I wouldn't care very much about it.

Dark brown. No head. Lots of brett, lots of dark fruit notes, which probably is probably the blackcurrant. So I'm not normally a fan of dark sours, but this does have a pretty good complexity to it. So I do like it.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with oak, some black currant, and a little balsamic. Flavour is very oaky, with lots of woody oak, balsamic, and lightly tart black currant. That's a lot of oak--damn. Lots of oak, with just enough tartness and nice expression of the fruit. Very good.

Smells of heavy yeasty sourness, wood, maltiness. Has muddy brown body with soft foam. Flavour is nice deep sourness, cherry, more yeast, very nice. Mouthfeel is full and dry. A good dark sour.
