Teaming up with Mane Liquor means we couldn’t do things in halves. This Big Hazy IPA has all the juicy goodness you’d expect from the style. A nice big hit of citrus and mango on the nose complemented by coconut characters. Firm bitterness on the tongue that subsides with every gulp you take. Good times ahead!

From a 375ml can on 20/1/2021. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden with a smallish head. Not much to the aroma - a little bit of indistinct fruit and chemicals. A little better on the sip with some pineapple sweetness and a modest lemony bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly oily, with average carbonation. Would never guess it's 8%. Not at all offensive but a bit ho-hum.

Can. Opaque orangish brown with an off white head that's soon less than a coat. Aroma of vague citrus, some tropical fruit, a little furniture polish. Medium bodied. Taste is more encouraging - there's light bread behind mandarin, mango, coconut. Very sweet before moderate but sufficient bitterness ties it together. Very slight grassy hop burn at the end. Strong for what it offers. OK.
