Clear medium amber colour, small half-way lasting off-white head, good lacing. Aroma pale malt, light fruity, bubblegum, caramel, pine. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, bready, aftertaste bittersweet, herbal notes, bit dusty, dry finish. Smooth and mild mouthfeel, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. For sure not an APA but a pleasant mild IPA.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: predominant diacetyl notes overwhelming everything else. slight toffee note. APPEARANCE: pale ambar color and translucent. medium off-white head with below average retention. TASTE: dominant diacetyl flavour with slight toffee notes. oxidation notes also present. high bitterness that lasts beyond an almost dry finish. Hop notes not present. PALATE: medium body with a slight slickness from diacetyl. Medium carbonation. OVERALL: a supposed American IPA that lost its hop aroma and flavors, with overwhelming buttery character.
