Coming in at 10% ABV, Evana is not only our first Russian Imperial Stout, or the 5th Edition of our Passport Series...it is also the first beer brewed and packaged at our brand new Worcester brewery! Evana is a smooth and creamy all-season stout showcasing a dark head and lacing, soft palate, and a slight finish of cocoa bitters. The stout lover will discover noticeable roasted malt and smooth chocolate flavors with a very subtle hop foundation. This stout flows like silk and drinks easy.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger tan foamy head which slid off very nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: deep roasted malts, coffee/espresso roasty sweetness, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, sweet ash, earthiness
Flavor: roasty to sweet to bitter - mostly combines those characters, mild aftertaste of chocolate, sweet ash and coffee tones
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper, fairly smooth along the tongue, finishes roasty and semi-smooth
Overall: pretty nicely done imperial stout I would have again.

Grab a 4 pack string stuff to drink a lot of, but I am up for it. Dark brownish black pour. Nose is coffee and earth. Tatses of coffee press, chocolate, earthy, ash, roasted malt, hint of dark fruit. Smooth. Abv present and pleasant.

Can at home. Dark brown. Choc and roasted malts. Lots of choc, some cold coffee press, perhaps some lactose. Fairly bitter, slightly boozy. Decent enough. Purchased at Premier Gourmet
