Dark brown with a small head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel toffee, brown sugar, hint of smoke. Flavour is medium roasted malty sweetness, with a moderate bitter aftertaste. Nice Dubbel.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is wooden, floral, some earthy, herbal and nutty tones. Flavour is sweet malts, toffee, some floral and mild wooden and spicy tones. Dried fruits in finish.

Dark brown colour, big cloudy brownish head and lace. Chocolate, straw, paper and light tart notes. Medium-bodied. Chocolate, caramel, yeast flavours. Typical below average dubbel.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Bready aroma with a hint of toffee. Malty sweet flavor with caramel cake and hints of plum. Well matured with a pleasant, slightly alcoholic aftertaste.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown colour with a mid-sized beige head. Aroma of dark malts, herbs, caramel, dried fruits. Taste is roasty, dried fruits, caramel, herbs, high carbonation.

fles 33cl meegebracht door @Douberd, tijdens #UBF15, bedankt hiervoor ! schenkt caramel bruin met schuimige kaki kraag. Aroma van mout, rozijn, caramel, noterig, licht aards, en chocolade. Smaken van chocolade mouten, zoetig, donker fruit, aardse tonen, de chocolade mout komt er tijdens het gehele bier lekker door en blijft lang houden, waardoor deze dubbel voor mij een extra dimensie krijgt tov de standaard (veel te) zoete dubbels. redelijke body en goed fruitig, prima bier.
