Cask at The Lismore, close to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery in the West End of Glasgow. Clear golden with a creamy head. Hoppy-sugary, which hides its strength to a fair extent.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of light biscuit, malt. Taste is light red fruit, bread. Clean finish.

Cask at The Cross Keys as ‘Peebles Cross’ - the brewery have confirmed that it’s the same beer. Clear golden body with a dense off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma of grain and peach. Flavour of lemon and earth with a bitter, slightly sour finish. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Slightly too sharp and tangy for my liking.

Cask-conditioned at the Vulcan, Coatbridge 3 October 2018. Golden in colour, with a lacy, white, head. Light citrus character, crisp malts, dryish finish. Good.

Pale golden beer, thin white head. Light, grassy hop aroma. Taste is bitter lemon, grassy hop and a not a lot else but with a sharp, lasting finish. Basic but thoroughly decent.
