Watch out! Jockamo is back, with a vengeance. This sour IPA has clean, tart notes of citrus, but it stomps and shouts with Centennial and Amarillo hops. Brewed with pale and caramel malts, and American ale yeast, Jockamo's Revenge has a flavor as bold as the Mardi Gras Indians who march through New Orleans in feathers and beads.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek, 2/13/19. Hazy amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Arroma of orange creamsicle with some piney hops. Taste is candied orange, pine, citrus, a hint of tartness. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering tartness and bitterness. A little odd, not terrible.

Very clear copper and bronze coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of brett and soured grain with a dose of light fruits, such as apples and pears, with a dose of sweetness near the end and some malt to couple with the funky nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong tart and very funky soured qualities at first that of course stem from the yeast, along with a bready and lightly sweet note and a good deal of malt in the back. Aftertaste shows the funky soured and tart flavours that don't seem to coalesce around any particular note or aspect, but just leave the palate wierd and almost like a throw-up (barf) flavour. Overall, a pretty poor attempt at a soured, wild or funky beer, with more odd and off-tastes than good ones. Neat to try, but that was about it - definitely worth passing over. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle in lieu of New Orleans being in the Super BowlLIII on 03-February-2019, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop on 24-January-2019 for US$2,59 sampled at home in Washington.

Bottle from Village Beer Merchant. Unclear golden. Nose dish soap, citrus. Fl dish soap, citric, fairly sour and tart. Not sure if like.
