Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy golden yellow color with a subtle transparency; finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated slowly to leave some light lace
Aroma: some stiff piney hops, muted pineapple-y hops; clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together somewhat sweetly with a sly bitterness trying to blend; mild finish of piney to pineapple-y hop tones but somewhat coming across sugary (odd, but alright, whatever, I guess)
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fairly slow in it's smoothness along the tongue
Overall: some things seem like this beer is going in the right direction then other times I look at it and give it that hard state like Chevy Chase gave Cousin Eddy when Eddy tells him about his dog with the sinus issues. Yeah, that hard stare. Alright, I'll leave it at that, I think you all get it, next beer please.

12 oz can. Pours a clear amber with moderate to full head. Aromas of spicey piney resin, tropical fruit, and toasted malts. Milder flavors of same.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is mango and pine. Med body or so. Flavor is very pine, and citrus, but those flavors place the mango in doubt. Still think it's there tho. Part way to juicy, fairly dry, and more than nicely bitter. It's pretty good stuff.

6 pack from the local Plaid Pantry. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big fruity nose. A nice medium bitterness, citrus, citra hops (or something similar), bready malt base. Very clean. Nice.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is not real fruity but I did get a ton of pine. I could smell pine as I was pouring this out of the can. Flavor is again a big pine and a small bit of citrus. Finishes with a sweet malty backbone. It’s a old school west coast IPA. I did not get much of a fruity hop but the pine hops are off the chart.
