Quite hazy golden, peach and orange coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall, off-white head. Aroma of very nice soured, tart and very fragrant berries, brett, funk, yeast and especially the oak foeders that show a ton of character, with a tiny bit of alcohol and hops noticeable at the end, but this is all about the sour funk, in a great way. Light to Medium-bodied; Very strong sour and tart fruit notes up front that show a ton of pears, apples, apricots and even some peaches with a dash of guava and tropical fruits and then layering the wheat and yeast with a dash of white grapes, the faintest bit of hops ever and a soft acidic and vinegar not towards the end. Aftertaste shows the very tart fruit-based notes very nicely with a good layering of those, a good deal of brett, some dry oak and wild yeast notes with a tiny bit of wheat and softer supportive characteristics towards the finish. Overall, a very nice and incredibly tart, wild and funky beer that shows amazing throughout the nose and the initial part of the taste and goes down easily for a great beer, almost any time of year! Well recommended, especially if you can find this in a store! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-November-2018 for US$3,49 sampled just over a year later, at home in Washington on Day #12 of the 2019 Advent Calendar for Christmas on 12-December-2019.

Generic sour. Some citrus but not a ton of extra character. Light tangy finish - not too acidic at least. Certainly not worth the high prices. Tap at Garden District.
