Keg at Drygate at 2.9%. It pours very dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, big liquorice character, meatiness, soil, malt loaf and some dried fruits. The taste is rich tangy maltage, blackcurrant, bramble, Dandelion & Burdock, earthy roast, toast, wood, leather and light copper with a dry, malt-driven finish. Light body me fine, prickly carbonation. Not bad, but a bit tangy perhaps...

Bottle from Drygate. Hazy chestnut body with a thin beige head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of tea, copper pennies, nuts and wholemeal bread. Flavour follows the aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture. Nice fizz. A really impressive beer. Incredibly drinkable.
