Pilgrim Cider is tripled filtered for purity and freshness a process that sets us apart from most other ciders which contain some form of preservative (mainly sulphites in the form of sulphur dioxide) or sweeteners (in the form of saccharin). We didn’t want such things in Pilgrim so that the consumer can taste the apples, not sulphur or bitter saccharin.
Pilgrim Cider has a refreshing balance of astringency and sweetness. It is an easy-to-drink, medium cider that targets a wide audience, differentiating it from a very dry or very sweet cider or highly alcoholic cider that appeals to just one set of cider drinkers.
