Light brown color and a white head. Flavor has some malt, quite dry, and clearly recognizable French/ Biere de Garde yeast, which is how I would classify this beer. Simple and one dimensional, with the dry malt dominating the flavor and aroma.

Copper color with a large white head. Left some lacing. Aroma of fruit, spices, honey, raisin and sugar. Very sweet taste. It reminded a bit of the Finnish brew called Sima. Not much bitterness to talk about. Low carbonation. A disappointment, 75 cl was way too much!

Very nice dark amber colour with a solid meringue-like head. Not much on the nose, just malts and alcohol. Taste isn’t bad but not great - malts, grains, dry finish and some brown sugary-taste in there, along with some disgusting tinniness. Could be better.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Pinball. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge, creamy and of-white head. Aroma is dry malty, vague breadish. Roasted breadish and mild malty flavoured. Lingering sweet and mild fruity yeasty flavoured into a mild phenolic finish.

clear amber, thick fluffy head. aroma is caramelly, dusty, faint cellary. flavor is flowery, mouldy, bitter, spices. nice, but the cellary note sort of disturbs me a bit.

2007 750ml Bottle. Appears to be a biere de garde to me. Pours with a large foamy white head and a clear copper body with good lacing. Much lighter than in the picture. Aroma is grassy hops with pepper, caramel and toast with a decent amount of diacetyl. Taste is very caramelly with buttery toast and DMS (not in an unpleasant way), and a bit of grass. Dry and fizzish.

Bottle in Nice, 2006. Amber beer with a tall head a lots of bubbles. Aroma of amber malt, earthiness, yeast, and nuts. Sweet flavor, a bit fruity, decent hops. Dry finish of hops, Amber malt, a bit of alcohol. A bit too sweet, and not very complex. Not a bad beer, but not very special either. I am also not sure what makes this a Noel beer.

Bottled (BB 03/2009)
Clear amber color, medium-sized steady beige head, some lace. Sweet aroma with redberry, diacetyl and strawberry. Sweetish beer. Toffee, rye, berries, diacetyl and alcohol presence in the flavor. Medium-bodied with quite sticky mouthfeel. Kind of sweet biere de garde. Quite French, Jenlain Bière de Noël is close to this one.

bottled (thanks omhper!) Amber colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, citrusfruits, some bitterish hops as well as spices. Flavour is fudge, some grassy hops as well as mild fruityness. Spices comes in the finish and aftertaste, along with strong fudge/caramel notes.
