Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, fruit, greens, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, yeast, fruit, and malt, leading to a raw bitter finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy bright golden, rich firm head. Distinct floral hop aroma, some marzipan. Dry with medium body and crisp, firm mouthfeel. Husky bready crisp malt, floral and minerally. Really bitter finish. Delicious and elegant. One of the 10 best beers ever.

Flaska från SB. Disig/grumlig (brukar den vara så grumlig?) varmt gyllengul vätska med högt stabilt fluffigt vitt skum. Doft av säd, örter, jäst, gräs, hö. Varje gång upptäcker man nya saker i denna fantastiska brygd. I år slås jag av hur den torra och krispigheten kompletteras så väl av den sammetslena munkänslan. Det är i det samspelet smakerna får dansa på tungan. Mycket gott

The annual Hop Harvest by De Ranke, each year with a different combination of green hops. Eggshell-white, cobweb-lacing, densely pillowy, thick and stable head on a initially lightly hazy, deep golden beer, shifting to a misty apricot blonde with sediment. Aroma of freshly mown grass, old bread crust, green pear, dried ginger, moist white pepper, bitter garden weeds (dandelion, sow thistle), unripe banana, unripe apricot, straw, clove. Dryishly fruity onset, green banana, unripe apricot and Conference pear, fizzy carb, lively but fit for the style and not interfering too much with an otherwise rounded, supple mouthfeel; bread-crusty malt core, grainy on the edges, leaving room for a very firm, 'weedy', leafy and rooty hop bitterness, adding retronasal aspects of dried grapefruit peel, wormwood and bitter tree leaves, ending a bit resinous but well in touch with bread crumb-like maltiness and yeastiness. I love this kind of beers and this uncompromisingly, old-fashionedly hop bitter series in particular and this new edition did not disappoint. Elegant and supple, yet firm and 'green', it's nice to have one of these young for a change, since I had many of its predecessors at a more advanced age (though most of them were still delicious).
