Free IPA is a true IPA with only 0.5% alcohol. The beer has a refined hoppy aroma, fantastic tropical flavors from the Amarillo hop and a mild bitterness. Firm and fresh at the same time. You can now really drink it all day long.

Fles gekregen van Roelzie. Het is een licht troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat citrusachtige geur. De smaak is zacht, citrus achtig en licht hoppig.

Another alcohol free IPA, for sale at the Delhaize supermarkets - things have changed so incredibly much in beer in the past decade... Thick and rocky, cobweb-lacing, eggshell-white, very moussy and stable head on a misty apricot blonde beer with vague khaki tinge and visible sparkling. Aroma of fresh lovage (weirdly), green mandarin peel, unripe pineapple, gypsum, talcum even, white soap, industrial white bread dough, stewing celery, spoiled potato mash, hints of red onion and old lime zest. Fizzy onset, lots of stinging carbonation, very minerally, low in sweetness and quite neutral, quickly switching to a soapy, old-doughy, rather dull middle, bittered by a leafy hoppiness with features of citrus pith and zest that have long faded, as well as that lovage, celery and sweet onion effect returning. The bitterness lasts long, but so do this chalky effect and strong soapiness. I wonder why so many non-alcoholic (or indeed low-alcoholic) bitter blondes, whether intended as IPA or not, have this extreme soapiness, but I do not like it, even if I must admit that in the beginning of this century, no one could have imagined that we would end up with low alcohol beers of this kind of flavour profile and I can recommend this over the non-alcoholic pale lagers offered by the macrobreweries. Still not my cup of tea, though - and far removed from VandeStreek's Playground, still by far the most successful product in this segment I ever came across.

Relatief bierachtig. Lijkt een beetje gistig, wat tarwe, wat hop. Deze is best aardig.

Pours a fairly unclear, amberblonde. Medium small white head. Scent is light, some touch of maltyness. Taste is sharp and bitter, emphacized by the higher carbo. Than a sweetness takes over, creating a more full experience. Sadly enough, it's fairly simple, maltsweet, bit corn like even. No real hoparoma. To call this a true IPA is proof that their marketing team has no clue what an IPA is. Irrelevant to that, the beer itself is OK ( as a NA ). It's just surpassed by so many others in todays NA market, it's not jumping out of the crowd. Accessible and fairly cheap ( compared to ... ) but even than, this doesn't surpass some other offerings in that category. Might be improved with more hoparomatic character and a more complex base.

Pours a light hazy golden colour and a dense white head with fairly good retention and good lacing. Aroma's is mostly grain, light vegetal. Retronasal it's grain and some citrus. Flavour is light grainish sweet, like a malt drink. Light bodied. Short finish, light bitter.

33cl bottle from Albert Heijn Duinenwater supermarket in Knokke. F: medium, white, good retention. C: gold, hazy. A: orange, tangerine, tropical fruits, lychee, citrus, floral. T: light malty base, watery orange, bit tropical fruits, decent bitterness, bit yeasty, high carbonation, quite nice aroma is better than taste, enjoyed.

0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before September 2021. Hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral and a bit resiny aroma of orange jam, mango and traces of pine. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral taste of orange jam, mango, some grains and just hints of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally grassy, a little resiny and hardly worty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay NAIPA, nicely fruity and balanced but not too outspoken.
