On tap at the Medulin festival. Darker amber-red body. Aroma... diacetyl, light herbal touch, melon. Diacetyl, caramel and tea mixing with tropical fruit in the taste, not that bitter. OK beer, imperfect but interesting, which seems to be the norm for Carniola.

Bottle, 0.50l. Hazy amber brown color with large soapy tan like color, lots of yeast residue and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of yeast, citrus, herbs, mild honey and caramel. Taste starts with medium sweet biscuit malt, follows by ripe fruits, yeast and bubblegum, mouthfeel finishes rather dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not the best choice for International Beer Day, but at least nothing wrong with this brew...

Bottled, from Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Hazy dark amber, rich creamy head. Perfumy lychee and black currant up front. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Black currant with notes of toast and caramel. Mid bitter finish.

Pours a very hazy, dark amber color, topped with a fairly large and nicely lasting beige creamy head. Aroma is a combo of biscuity malt (some caramel way in the back) and sweet fruity notes. Initially malt is a bit more dominant, later on hoppy fruitiness. Taste is a bit more gentle but very pleasant. Slight sweetness upfront, followed by a medium hoppy bitterness. Going into aftertastem finishing with a touch of biscuity malty feel. Medium light beer, a bit more gentle but full of taste. Nice
