Tap at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Opaque black colour and beige head. Aroma has coffee and licorice, maybe hints of peat even. Medium-bodied. Coffee, licorice, some tobacco in the flavour. Ok.

Taste starts with light sweet and rich roasted malt and chocolate, following is earthy with milky and caramel note, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, sweet malt, cocoa. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa. Pours dark, almost black, topped with a thin and non-lasting beige head. Malty nose with heaps of dark chocolate, nuts and gentle roastiness. Taste way more roasty with nice addition of sweet chocolate. Gentle coffee aftertaste. Medium bodied. Decent porter, not bad not extra exciting.
