Kveik Pale Ale
Long, harsh winters, everlasting nights – this is Norway. People living there are the same, harden by the earth, blunt and stubborn. And so is their yeast. 500 year-old tradition raised up robust little critters that can ferment beer even at 35 °C and finish fermentation in mere days. No trace of mild Czech and German practice, where the yeasts needs ages to produce something potable. Norwegian yeast grabs your attention, it produces beer with unique bouquet of citrus and tropical fruit aromas. We spiced this concoction with Slovenian hops – our pride and tradition. The resulting beer is a synergy of two several hundred-year old traditions – a harmony where every sip is a refreshing thirst-quencher.

Tap, Lajbah. Hazy golden orange, medium white head. Gentle nose, slight soury cellar touch, some mild fruits, citruses. Gentle bitterness, slightly soury with some fruitiness, very mild. Sligh grassy finish. Light body. Ok drinkable, though a bit gentle.

Draft sample; Not so pronounced on the nose in comparison with The Garden Kveik PA (OK that one is clearly hoppier); Notes of dry apricot, hints of candied orange, grapes, mild tropical fruit candy, lemon candy, creamy smell, notes of wood & subtle earth
