Refrigerated 75 cl brown waxed poured into a snifter. Aroma is pumpkin, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is spice, pumpkin, wood, chocolate, smoke, and some bourbon.

Keg at 73 Enid Street - Bermondsey. Pours deep brown with a foamy, khaki head. Nice roast, moderate pumpkin, some brown bread, pleasant autumnal spices. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, mildly sticky. Not bad.

Bottle from Beerdome. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon and light bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Went well with some Christmas cookies. 191220

Nutmeg, cinnamon, bourbon, pumpkin, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with nice brown head. Mildly sweet nutmeg/cinnamon, pumpkin, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter grass/hay flavor. Good body with a moderately bourbon finish. Pretty good - drier than expected.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin spice, taste is roasted, coffee, bitter, smoky, pumpkin pie.

Keg at 73 Enid Street. A dark brown black coloured pour with a fine tan head that fades. Aroma is bug pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, bitter wood, pine sap. Flavour is composed of velvety, dark chcoc, bourbon biscuits, bourbon, cinnamon, pumpkin, Warming alcohol. Palate is semi sweet velvety, boozy, moderate carbonation. Spicy finish. Good.

Keg at #73, 28/02/20. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is deep roast, chocolate, pumpkin, light spice, molasses, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises cacao nibs, Rich roast, toasted brown sugars balanced with spice, more pumpkin, Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid stuff ... drinks easy for the big ABV and is well rounded and approachable.
