Ocean Lab is always searching for the perfect blend of ingredients to make the best beer in our land. Baraka Coffee Co. selected the freshest coffee beans from the mountain town of Adjuntas and roasted them to perfection at their facilities in Santurce. Brewers created the perfect stout with strong coffee notes as well as chocolate and roasted flavors.

Coffee and roast. Some caramel. Black pour with mocha head. Bitter finish with a little tang. Decent balance. Bottle.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Coffee and light roast aroma with light dark fruit. Coffee and light dark fruit flavor. Medium bodied. Coffee and light caramel linger with light dark fruit.

On tap at the brewery, pours a murky dark brown with some filmy, beige head. Nose has toasted bread, turbinado sugar, medium roast coffee, malt. Flavor is nice, some oaty, milky, sweet coffee, brown sugar, some malt, toast, nuts. Dry finish. Well done.
