Named after a classic car owned by the boss’s father, Lagonda has been a house beer since 1997. The beer was originally designated an IPA but we feel pale ale better reflects current beer definitions. Pale in colour, the malts provide a sturdy body on which is built a citrus and floral hop character.

50cl can from Pien, Helsinki. Bbe 13.06.19. Poured golden and clear, white head.Crisp, gooseberry aroma, some citrus and urinal cake. Flavor has citrus/lemony notes, hops and grapefruit. Good drinkability, gets away with the light backbone due to the low abv. Very easy to drink.

At a tasting, thanks, medium stable bubbly head, a little intense hazy yellow color, aroma of mandarine, herbs and shrubs, flavor of lemon and peach with some malty graininess behind, medium herbal bitterness, just a bit tannic, light sweetness. Nice and enjoyable.

Can shared at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks David K. for this can! Hazy golden, white head. Nice fruity hops, a bit floral, a bit of sweetish malt, bitterish finish, light to medium-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, small persistent head. Aroma: citrus fruits, pithy, grapefruit, floral. Taste: citrus fruit, grapefruit, floral, pithy, slightly earthy piney, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Quite good but not a favourite.

Tap at Birrificio Marconi, Rome-Italy. Pretty hazy golden pour, tick and irregular white foam. Nose: citrus, much resin, lime. Mouth is easy, a bit (just a bit) citric tart, mild feel of resin and pretty bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - lemon and meadowsweet. Taste - lemon and more herbs. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - I’d put this in Golden ale style.
