Named after a classic car owned by the boss’s father, Lagonda has been a house beer since 1997. The beer was originally designated an IPA but we feel pale ale better reflects current beer definitions. Pale in colour, the malts provide a sturdy body on which is built a citrus and floral hop character.

Draught @ BAJT. Pours hazy tiny burnt pale golden with a rather big frothy and fluffy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny malty, fruity and slightly floral with crackers, honey spread white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, moist grass, pine needles, black currant tea and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly fruity, grassy and tiny floral. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, slightly astringent, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, lilacs, moist grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Solid fairly floral sessionable IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lagonda on 18 Oct 2015 at 17:56 - Score: 7. Original review text: Solid fruity floral sessionable IPA...

On tap @So Good (Rome). Pours deep golden with a medium white head. Aroma of peach, citrus, lemon zest, light floral notes, nice. Flavour is medium to heavy bitter, crisp and dry, not so drinkable but quite nice. Medium body, medium carbonation. Ok.

Tap @ Craft & Draft, small sample. Slight hazy yellow to golden color, short head. Aroma is slight malty, bit fruity, some citrus, bit flowery. Low to medium bitter in taste, slight malty sweetness. Has a slight english cask feel to it, slight thin in body, but nice fruitiness. Probably very nice from cask. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lagonda on 28 Dec 2017 at 09:32 - Score: 7

Bardzo bardzo dobre IPA po brytyjsku, bardzo klasycznie i tradycyjnie. sa drozdze a raczej male drobinki jakby fusy, kolor zlocisty, spora i trwala pianka no i ten aromat cytrusowo zywiczny, nieco iglasy. w smaku trawiasto cytrusowo morelowe i wyrazna goryczka pod sam koniec
