Somehwat murky reddish brown, low carbonation. Smells malty, raisins, caramel aplenty. Fairly light body, soft, with a warming boozy finish. Taste is classic quad firstly, caramel, dried fruit, maltyness, with a light whisky kick. Fun!

Bottle, 11.2%. Pungent aroma of brown sugar. Almost clear reddish dark brown colour. Stable tan head. The flavour is sweet and pepper with a metallic note. Sweetish port-like note, perhaps from the whisky. Late alcohol bitterness. Even tough it was brewed in 2020, a year or two ago, it seems a bit green. I think it would have been better if kept for a few years more.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear brown with an off-white head. Whisky vanilla aroma with dark caramel, dark fruits and lightly roasted malts. Sweet taste with a sweet boozy finish.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een fruitige wat zoete geur. De smaak is fruitig, kruidig, caramel achtig en licht turf achtig in de afdronk.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Caramel, soft roast, coughing syrup, vanilla and whisky in the aroma and in the sweet flavor. Herbal and spicy notes. Simplistic but drinkable.
