Zes maanden gerijpt in duisternis, bier met een eigen wil. Het Chateau Castera (2017) rode wijnvat uit de Médoc laat zijn sporen achter. Rijk & complex met aroma's van donker fruit en een tongstrelende droge afdronk.

Clear, pale yellow with lots of fluffy white foam. Smells fruity, yeasty, bit of banana, some citrus. Mouthfeel is a bit watery, tad too much carbonation. Taste is medium bitter and quite dry. Some subtle peppery spicyness, and light red wine. Not bad.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel iets troebel bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van hout, vanille en kruiden. Smaak is houtig en rokerig. Weinig nasmaak.

Fles gedeelt met Inoven en LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een. Wijn achtige wat bloemige en vanille achtige geur. De smaak is houtig, eik, rode wijn en wat droog.

Bottle. Golden color with a red haze. Oak in the aroma. Dry, floral notes, oak and a hint of red wine in the flavor. There is some complexity and balance.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden to amber, white head. Aroma: Bit herbal Saison yeast, vinuous hints. Taste: Yeasty, subtle herbal, hints of dark fruit, some red wine. Hints of grain and stone fruit. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter, very slightly vinuous tartness. Subtle wood. Over moderate grassy hopbitterness at finish. Medium body, just under average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel, going to dry at finish. Nice complexity.
