Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As De Witte Leeuw Oktober 23 ].Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt, sugary, berry tart notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramelized fruit - beeries, sugary, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140330]

Sold as barrel aged but I don’t see any markings on the label... Deep brown with small off-white head. Brown sugar, bread, dried plums, vanilla, some porto maybe. Taste is mainly sweet with light bitter finish. Medium bodied with full carbonation. Not bad, but the aroma is a bit light.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Malz, Karamell, rote Früchte. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, rote Früchte, leicht würzig.

On tap at Kafe Belge. Pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of bread and dark fruits with a touch of toffee underlying. Flavor has dark grains, toffee and raisins with a bit of caramel underlying.
