Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours an opaque pitch black with a beige head. Heavy coffee aroma atop some sweet roast. Medium body, very sweet roast, vanilla and coffee. A little chili notes - as I often find in coffee beers. Hardly any bitterness. 080911

Courtesy of dkachur! Pours dark brown with tan head. The aroma is dark roasty, molasses, vanilla and a bit of ripe cherry. Nice. The taste is much the same and feeling pretty thin. It has loads of flavor with dark roastiness and coffee moving toward caramel, chocolate, vanilla and a bit of dark fruitiness. Wow, tasty brew. I love this stuff.

Deep pitch black coloured body with a very thin brown head. Aroma of coffee, tobacco, roasted malt, bitter nuts and some caramel. Full-bodied; Strong assertive malt and coffee flavours with some bitter metal coming through near the end. Aftertaste shows oak & vanilla with a little coffee, but not much. Overall, a pretty good beer for the style, and although it says its a Winter seasonal, I had this during the summer! I sampled this pint on draught at RFD in Washington, DC on 16-July-2009.
