Glass (I think 0,2l or 0,25l) at The Clock Pub, Cartagena. Amber hazy color, small white head. Smells earthy, grassy, citric, tobacco. Decent smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes citric, earthy, grassy, spices, caramel, some marzipan, bit nutty, peppery, tobacco. Finishes medium bitter with notes of citrus, grassy and tobacco notes. Has a nice pleasant bitter punch towards the finish, quite drinkable

Bottle 330ml (tnx Janne M). Amber colour, small off-white head. Bready, grassy, caramelly nose. Light-bodied. Caramel, grass, cardboard in the flavour. Sweetish but harsh.

350ml at my hotel pours a clear rusty orange with some clumpy white head. Nose is a bit musty, a little metallic, some orange, some bread. Flavor follows, some root veg, malt, a little honey, orange. Crisp finish. Better.

Not that bad. Has some notable hops in initial smell at least. Pours clear orange with ok head and lacing. Finishes with slight astringency, some metallic rustiness. Average carbonation. Cloying texture. Leaves a little to be desired here. Bottle.

This was my least favorite of the BBC beers that I tried. It poured a red color with a quickly dissipating head. Smell was ok and promised more, but the taste was really thin and the beer was kind of watery. Not enough hops and not enough malts.

A golden ale with a thin white lacing head. A sweetish light malt aroma with faint hops, honey and berries. In mouth, there is actually some hops in their, albeit very restrained. Light bodied, but palatable. On tap, Dec. 26 2007.
