This hand numbered concoction is made from grape pomace, apples, pears, honey and water. One would call it piquette or ciderkin, but whatsoever we call it Bruus. This means sparkling in low German. Grape pomace is from Jasmin Swan (Katla Wines). Apples and pears are picked and pressed from hand.

Dark purple, with purple head. Muted aromas, blueberry pulp, mild grapes with a little tart one, mostly very mild and a bit watery. Pleasant but very quiet and a bit dull.

Bottle shared. Bit of a gusher. Hazy dark purple with fizzy light pink head. Nice funk, dry apple peel, quite some grapes and grape skins. It definitely has some natural wine notes mixed with a watery cider. I don't get much honey. Light sweet, tart and bitter. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation and medium dry finish. Quite different, it's not amazing but nice to try.

Gusher alert !!! And beware this stuff stains. Left breathing for a while, pours red/purple with a pinkish head. Apples and especially the grapes are dominant, grapes leave a dry finish, thins stuff, not a typical cider, more a fruit blend, 27/55.
