Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Reddish amber pour with a medium sized, lingering off white head. Nose and flavour had some piney hop, summer fruit and caramel malts in attendance. Thickish mouthfeel. Drinkable enough but balance seemd a bit off and somehow lacking any subtlety or real depth.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Soapy citrus hop aroma with a herbal touch, not unlike nettles. Sweet malty flavour with pine and orange and a bitter finish

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Amber colour with a mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some sweet malts. Also some slight stinging alcoholic notes. Flavour is alcohol, some fruity and floral hops along with some mild bready and sweetish malts. Flavour ends quite much directly after you swallow the beer, so no real aftertaste.

Bottle: Almost clear, amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; fruity (exotic fruits) and bready-caramelly aromas beneath the dry floral to peppery hoppy nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; dry fruity and citrussy-hoppy finish, the hops stick to the palate. Not bad, but there are better samples of this style....

(bottle, 35.5cl) Hazy, amber colour with a dense mid-sized and slightly beige foamy head. Mildly sweet cara-malty aroma with fruity (grapefruit, lemon) and woody hoppy notes, accompanied by notes of black tea and a tinge of cinnamon. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Caramel-malty base with fruity hops and a moderately dry mouthfeel; mildly malty and bitter hoppy finish with fruity and slightly woody aroma hops. Pleasant but not overly inspiring for an IIPA. 24.XI.10

clear amber, smooth offwhite head. Dry aroma. Dry hops, faint flowery. Faint aroma overall but i still sense a potent beer6 . Quite sweet caramelly flavor with a powerfull bitterhoppy balance. Sweet malts. Hop profile is quite complex faint flowery notes, exotic fruits, pine, grapefruit. Overall the hops are pretty bitter and this is needed as the malty caramelly sweetness is a bit too much. 7
